Anyways...Emma is doing well, but she will have surgery next summer. Ugh...it will be a big one. Bone will be taken from her hip and inserted in her gum line. At the same time, the doctor will do a revision on her lip, as it is still badly scarred. She will be in the hospital for two days and recovering time is estimated at two weeks.
This means mommy will have to save up all of her vacation time in the next year so I can stay home with her as long as she needs to get better.
In August, we will go see the orthodontist and she may start wearing braces to make sure her teeth are straight and they do not interfere with the bone graft.
The best part about the trip to ATL? Lunch at the Varsity! :)
