Let's see where we left off....
December - We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary, Nonna Maggie and Ms. Betty came to visit from CT, Emma had a birthday, and of course CHRISTMAS!!!! The kids were very pleased with their visit from Santa, and we had a quiet and wonderful Christmas day and dinner at the house.
January - We celebrated Daddy's birthday on the 20th. As you will see in the pictures below, he had a faboulos Spongebob cake. He told the girls that they could pick out the cake for him, and they originally opted for Spiderman, but the store was out, so Spongebob it was!!!!
Today we celebrated Tyler's birthday. His actual birthday is tomorrow, but we decided it would be best to celebrate on a Sunday night. Thankfully the ebola virus has left our house, so we were able to enjoy some chicken wings and onion rings (yes, real easy on the stomach!!!!!), as the party boy requested. One small glitch during dinner preparation - Mike set the kitchen on fire. No kidding. Small, tiny fire. Grease and all. It's not a party without fireworks, right??
All in all, beside the sickness, we have been doing well. The girls are keeping us BUSY, especially Ms. Emma. She has become quite the rascal - her favorite new three-word sentence is "What the heck?" I am sure that will go by really well at school the first time she says it....ARGH! OH, I almost forgot about "No way Jose!", which has become another favorite!!!
Did I mention Mike set the kitchen on fire? ;-)
Now, what you have been really waiting for - the pictures. Enjoy!!!
Love to all,
Laura and the gang
