Happy Chinese New Year - Year of the Rat

Well, for those of you who are not aware, yesterday was Chinese New Year, more precisely, the beginning of the Year of the Rat. This is probably the most important holiday in China. People travel miles to go home and spend this week-long holiday with their families.

We celebrated for Mia by going out to our favorite Chinese restaurant. She wore one of her Chinese outfits I bought her in China. Here she is ready to go out.

On Tuesday, Tyler had a recital at school. Here is a picture of him and the rest of the 4th graders singing "Under the Sea" from the Little Mermaid. They sang a medley of Disney movie songs and sounded wonderful!!!!!!! We are so prouf of him. Of course he was very embarassed because Mia was standing on her chair calling him out as loud as she could, and he was pretending not to see her. So, it was double the entertainment that night!!!!

We really are blessed with great kiddos. We love them both so much and cannot wait to have Emma in our arms as well.

Love to all,

Laura
