Hero of the Week

This week's "Hero of the Week" is Lucy. 

I don't know Lucy or her family, but they are an extraordinary family.  There is a link to their blog on my homepage; Lucy was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer in February and she has just finished her treatment.  She is finally back home with her Mom and Dad, older sister and little brother.  She is a hero because no little girl should ever have to go thorugh what she is going through, and to me she deserves a mention along with her very brave family, who has suffered separation and many bouts of chemo in the last 9 months. 

Even in the middle of it all, her Mom raised money to help other families who are going through the same thing - and people in other parts of our country are in the streets complaining because they cannot find a job...Be thankful for your health, and do good things with your life, instead of wasting time complaining.
